Hello Rose, I have a question about a spell I found in a book, but don’t have the main ingredient, hair, which is from the subject of the spell. Is there a substitute I can use as I have no access to this person? I have found several spells that I want to use, but need to know if substitutions will be as effective and what those substitutions might be. The situation I am trying to rectify is that my husbands ex- affair is trying to split us up still. She is sending letters, with copies of letters he has written and letters she has written for a 4 year old child that is said to be of the same affair. I knew nothing of the child or affair until this past August. Since he said he wants to try to work out our relationship. With her constant interference we are unable to take positive steps forward to heal the broken parts. I hope this message isn’t too confusing. Thank you for any assistance you are able to send. Deborah
Hello there Deborah my dear, Unfortunately, not knowing the exact spell of which you are speaking, I would be very hesitant in suggesting an alternative for one of the ingredients listed in the making of said magic. What I can offer you, however, is a possible alternative: A Spell to Return Unwanted Attention At some point or another most of us attract the attention of someone we would rather not. If they seem slow to take the hint, this spell should help in speeding things up. Cast it three days or three nights in a row when the moon is waning. This spell is best cast outside, but if this is not possible it can still be performed indoors as well. As this spell involves fire, it should always be performed with great care. You will need: Vervain leaves (Fresh is better, but dried leaves will work also) A well-stoked fire Consecrate the wood or coal before lighting the fire. When it has taken, throw the vervain onto the flames, calling out the name of the person you would like less attention from as loudly and with as much passion as you can muster. Follow the name with these words, which should also be said with passion: %u201CI want you not ever, I need you not ever, Leave my life now, And come back never, And let it be done, that it harm no one.%u201D Spend a minute or two trying to see the person%u2019s face in the smoke of the fire and watch it waft away from you %u2013 never to return.
