You have not mentioned how old you are. However, at any age, you can read about Wicca and magickal religions. Just as you get up and take a bath before you or your parents do puja, Wiccans or people who practice Wicca do rituals that are called spells. Instead of a mantra, Wiccans may chant similar stothrams in order to invite happiness and prosperity to your life.
I am sure that you can find some books on Wicca or Witchcraft and try to read them. It is best if you talk to your parens about it and ask questions so that they can tell you more about their way of life. Although they may not think that Hinduism is similar to Wicca, try to discuss with them what is common between the two peaceful religions.
Similar to Hinduism, Wicca has many deities, although as in Hinduism, the deities all finally merge into one – Atman. In Wicca, they are the female Goddess which is represented by the Moon and the male God represented by the Sun. As in Hinduism, Wiccans cleanse an area near the altar and collect the items necessary for the spell or puja.
Just as we cleanse an area with holy water from a small bronze vessel, Wiccans use sea salt water to cleanse the area. They may also cleanse the area with a natural broom. After that, they light some candles or lamps to invite the positive energies to attend and make the ritual a success.
Sitting down in meditation, Hindus and Wiccans read some spiritual work, sometimes in their own words, or chant a mantra so that they can reach their subconcious mind which is more in tune with the Deity. When they reach that level, all of their thoughts can create. In such a way, both Wiccans and Hindus create their own destiny.
Along with learning to communicate with the Universe, Hindus and Wiccans also assist others in their journey. One of the advantages of Wicca is that there are no “Brahmins” to mess up our lives. Following this path of life, all of us can communicate with the Deity and the entire Universe itself without the help of priests, mullahs or other advisors.
