Is witchcraft against the Bible?

I know witchcraft is powerful, but is it against the bible?

In recent years, there have been many people who have tried to reconcile the Christian faith with witchcraft. Nothing in witchcraft prohibits the combination of the two, but many people feel that the Bibloe specifically says that witchcraft is evil.

Personally, I believe this is a decision you have to make for yourself. Some people believe that witchcrat is evil, but the Craft is not intended to be evil. It is designed to use faith and magic to help others and the Wiccan Rede is very similar to the Golden Rule. The Golden Rule says, “Do Unto Others as you woud have them do unto you.” The Wiccan Rede’s primary tenet is “It Harm None, Do What Thou Wilt.”

The similarities are clear. If you treat others right, then you are being a good person. That seems like a good thing to me.

However, many extreme religious groups believe that their way is the only way and do not even consider that another option could also be okay. Here is a website for a Canadian organization that tries to promote understanding between religions www.religioustolerance.org

On their website, you can find a page explaining how to be a Christian and a Wiccan. Ultimately, the decision falls to you as to what you believe. If you believe the King James Version of the Bible literally, it says that fortunetellers and witches are part of the road to Hell. If you believe that the Bible was “interpretted” through the ages to be against whatever other religions were unpopular at the time, it is fair to say that the passage amy have been taken out of context.
