Is witchcraft real? Is it dangerous?

Greetings! Witchcraft is the art and science of making things happen; things which can be beneficial to others and things that may harm others. As Wiccans, we make the promise that we will not harm anyone because we KNOW that whatever we do will be returned to us three-fold. Most people use magick to manifest into reality those goals that are dear to their heart. This may be the goal of being healthy, having a nice house, enough money, etc. For all of those goals, we can do positive magick. This enables us to create whatever we require in life. Creating more than what we need for our daily sustenance could cause negative results. The world is big enough and abundant enough for all human beings. However, some of us get greedy and want to hoard food, money, arms,etc. When people lust after possessions or excessive wealth, wanting to control others etc., then witchcraft can become dangerous. As we can see in the world, some countries use violence to control others. Some have the poorest people who go for days without eating any food. When the people of a country (or a government) abuses their power and starts to destroy Nature, the living conditions will go down eventually. Everyone can do magick to raise their standard of living by using witchcraft sensibly and for a good cause. As you can see, what we do makes a lot of difference in the world and all of us as a whole. There are many good people in this world and most of them practice positive, nurturing witchcraft to help others find prosperity, love and good health. Those who pratice dangerous or hurtful witchcraft will experience more sadness in their lives. Hope this helps you understand the power of witchcraft.
