I need to know the truth about an affair that my wife had 23 years ago as this has had such a negative effect on her that she is suffering from eating disorders to this day and is currently weighing 37 kilograms. Bright Blessings, Nic.  I realize that I’m a newcomer to this situation, but it seems to me that it’s not you who needs to realize the truth about this “affair,” but your wife.  I do believe that you’ve asked this question with the best of intentions, but I can see no good that can come from you digging for the “truth” of something which happened 23 years ago. 

Your wife’s weight, if accurate, is indeed extremely alarming.  The first thing you need to do, before even considering delving into causative factors, is to get her IMMEDIATELY to a clinic which specializes in eating disorders.  If you don’t know if one is available in your area, take her to your family doctor and have him or her recommend the next step.  37k or 81lbs for an adult is not healthy by anyone’s standards, and a clinic will know the appropriate steps to take to help save her organs and keep them from shutting down.  They will also have the staff available to help her gain weight, and to also help her figure out what the root of this eating disorder is. 

Has she said to you specifically that this affair is the cause of her obvious distress?  If not, please be careful not to put too much emphasis on it, especially not to her, and especially not when you’re taking her to get treatment.  Check your own heart to be sure that it is not resentment that you are carrying.  From your letter, you seem to really have her best interests at heart.  A weight this low is honestly nothing to mess around with.  After you have seen to the treatment of her physical body, talk to her.  Be as honest as you can with her counselors.  After all this, please come back and let me know how she’s doing.  Then, with her permission only, will we talk about magickal spells.
