I am heartbroken and have returned to cutting. I feel destroyed about my ex and now am in a disfunctional relationship that hurts me even more. Worst of all the man that I love I cannot have and he loves me too, that is what makes it worse. I feel hopeless and am ready to give up on love. I need peace, please.
It is really sad to hear that you are in a dysfunctional relationship and are trying to hurt yourself. One of the most important things to know is that Love will come to us ONLY if we Love ourselves. Your destructive habit that hurts you is exactly the reason why Love is eluding you. When you stop the destructive habit and learn to avoid it forever, Love will always remain in your life. For this, it is best to see a physician who can take you through the healing process. When you begin to love yourself as you are, whole and complete, you will be happy. When you love others without any expectation of getting love back, you will be happy. When you see the whole world as an opportunity for LOVE. The more focused we are on our happiness, the less Love we will have in our life. Also, you say you are in a dysfunctional relationship and you cannot have the one you love. We need to work on one relationship at a time. try to work things out in the relationship you are in. When you are in the arms of one man, do not dream of another. Love is always watching to see how we deal with others. When we are trusting, eager and honest, we have the best chance of a happy life full of love and laughter. Deal with one person at a time. Try to make that relationship work. If it doesn’t say your peace and leave the relationship before you think of another one. Meanwhile, see if you can get your life back together. Work, health, prospects, attitude, Joy, etc needs to be there in your life before Love can enter it. We get what we put into the Universe. So go out to an orphange and help a child or take care of a baby. Feed the hungry at a soup kitchen in your neighborhood. Talk to the people you see without any judgement or attitude.
