Hello Miss Rose Adriadne, I have been Wicca for about a year so far. Now, although I’m not as much as a ‘practicing’ witch as I might like, I have been working on one skill persistently this past year. Since I began, I have been practicing seeing auras. While I may have been skeptical at first, I have definitely seen extreme growth in my ability in the past year. At this point, I am easily able to see the auras of just about anything that has one when I focus, and I’m even able to see some of the subject’s aura when I do not focus, but sadly, I do not see any defining coloration. I only see and ambient white/yellowish color in the light. Now to my question — How can I further develop my auric sight into something useful, as in, how can I begin to see colors and such? Are there any exercises you might suggest outside the normal practice for seeing auras? Also, I have come to understand that it is a commonly held belief that looking at other’s auras without permission is rude. Is this true, and if so, what can I do to work on being able to switch it off when not in use? Or is not focusing on seeing auras the only way? Thank you for your time, and your work. It is wonderful to have questions like yours on this forum. I am happy to hear that you you can see auras. Although not everyone can see auras, those are exceptionally gifted and those who are determined to see them can do so with a lot of practice. Of course, some of the more established and truly revered spiritual leaders have the best and brightest auras.
Continue your work on auras and you will find that there are many books on this topic at the popular websites. Also, on youtube, you can find a lot of explanations on how to see auras and what they mean. As you eagerly visualize your future, it happens. So if you are interested in auras, by all means pursue this amazing power.
Distinguishing auras will help us as we can detect the emotions of people. For example, when see a passerby and notice a dark aura, it means that the person has negative or harmful thoughts. They may be about to hurt someone. In war-torn places like the middle-east, this may be a good way to detect a car bomb or other destructive methods to hurt large numbers of people. Of course, you have to be absolutely sure before you alarm others.
If you are looking for a spiritual leader, choose the one with the brightest aura. She or he can show you the path to heaven sooner than the others. In fact, with daily intereaction with these highly spiritual people, our thoughts too turn to spirituality and the good of mankind. This, in turn, brightens our own mind and spirit which gives us a brighter aura! So Nick, keep working on this and enjoy life to the fullest!
