Merry meet
At the moment i am having a slight problem with my meditation.
I was wondering if you could help me.
Its never been a problem before but at the moment I cant seem to clear my mind and relax.
I would most appreciate it if you could suggest some things that may help me.

The best meditation practice I have found is to get a piece of grained wood as large as you can, and place it on the floor where you meditate. Position it so that the grain is all you can see when you sit in front of it. Sit anyway that is comfortable; being uncomfortable does not lend itself to concentration. Stare at it–I was happily surprised to find out that it’s “okay” to meditate with your eyes open–and count under your breath out loud from 1-10 as you breathe in through your nose. Start over at 1 and count again to 10 as you exhale through your mouth. As with anything, this takes practice, but try it for at least twenty minutes a day. It will help you with relaxation and clearing your mind. I learned this technique from a Buddhist acupuncturist friend. If you find your thoughts continue to race, give yourself permission to have racing thoughts and start over.
