Is it possible to have two altars?

my parents don’t live together and i am split most of the time. Is it possible to have an alter at each of their houses??

Merry Meet Seeker,
I am sorry to hear that your parents don’t live together and that you spend your time going from one house to the other.
It is really difficult when you have to keep shuttling between two houses. It’s a good thing though that you are able to see both your parents often. Altars are our special spaces where we can have items that help us focus our energy. In some houses, people have altars in every room. Some Wiccans have one altar inside the house and one outside. Altars are places where we can relax and concentrate on our thoughts. To increase our focal energy, we can also add items that are sacred to us to the altar.
In an indoor altar, we usually have a pentacle or other symbols that is sacred to us along with candles, incense, herbs, etc. People who build outdoor altars may use rocks, seashells, tiki torches and such. As you can see, the place where we build the altar, the items we place on the altar etc., are always be your preference.
To have an altar in each house is a wonderful idea so long as your parents don’t mind. Altars are made more sacred when practitioners use them often. Regular cleaning, cleansing and spell working keeps an altar in magickal condition.
Hope you will enjoy being with both your parents and will be able to practice your rituals and spell working peacefully and joyfully.
Brightest Blessings
Rose.
