Magick and Beauty

Can I use magick to say change my eye color, or just help me in physical appearence. i know i’m beautiful but have nothing to show for it. i have confidence in me. and thank you for all your awesome newsletters!

Greetings! Its wonderful to know that you are aware of your beauty. A lot of people are not aware of their potential and spend a lot of time worrying about it. As for changing eye-color, you are right, it is temporary. Our eye color is determined by our genes. There is very little we can do about it other than get colored contact lenses. However, it may be good to understand that there are people who love green eyes, black eyes, blue eyes or brown eyes. Just as there are people who love different faces, different colors of hair, different heights, different weights (yes!) and so on.. So what we all need to remember is that when your soul mate sees you, He or she does not even see the color of anything. Its more of a mental attraction. And we all have a minimum of five soulmates, who we will meet over our lifetime. Love can strike at any age, you know. :) We should not get fixated on appearances, whether it is ours or someone else’s. After we get married, appearance rarely matters. What matters is how you feel when that person is around you. Do you feel respected, loved, protected, and contented? That is a wonderful relationship. We rarely look at our partner and think of how handsome he is or how beautiful she is. We may, but it has nothing to do with physical beauty. As time passes, you will understand that to focus on physical beauty (ours or anyone else’s) is a waste of time because our minds, our love, our feelings outlast the physical appearance we are born with. We shed our bodies and fly away like butterflies to our next life. Our body is like the clothes we change, one after another. Focusing on the body is a waste of time. However, we have to take care to maintain our body for this lifetime. That means, eating well, exercising, meditating and loving each other. Sounds like you are a pretty sensible person. So I am not sure what you mean by “nothing to show for it”. If it means that you don’t think you are beautiful, then try volunteering at a charity or food bank or at a battered women’s or pet shelter. The thousands of eyes that light up when they see you there will tell you what you are capable of in this world. Hope this anwers your question. Brightest Blessings!
