My great gran mother was a medium and i understand that she also followed the wiccan ways, buit she lives in australia and i live in the uk soo i dont see her and she also very ill so she doesn’t call and we cant afford it. I didnt know if i was to young to get myself into these things but i still want to learn more. i dont think i really ready to perform the rituals but i was wondering what kind of books and websites i should study. im so glad i found you… blessed be Kayleigh-ann x

Merry Meet Kayleigh-Ann It is so good to hear from you! You are very fortunate that your family has already accepted witchcraft as a way of life even if they are far away in Australia. You could send letters to your great grand mother and maybe she will respond too. Or someone can write while she explains a few of her spells and ways in which you can learn to be a medium. Well, it is wonderful that you know 13 is a bit early to become Wiccan. When you are an adult, you will have plenty of time to decide and try out Wicca. However, you are correct in that you can easily get some books and start learning all about this ancient, wonderful and earth preserving way of life. Here are some books that may help you learn more about Wicca: ~ Silver RavenWolf – Teen Witch: Wicca for a new generation Silver Ravenwolf “To ride a silver broomstick: New generation Witchcraft,” Llewellyn Publ., Margot Adler, “Drawing down the moon: Witches, Druids, Goddess worshipers and other Pagans in America today,” “Circle, Coven & Grove,” Llewellyn Publ,, (2007). Deborah Blake – “Everyday Witch A to Z: An Amusing, Inspiring & Informative Guide to the Wonderful World of Witchcraft,” Llewellyn Publ,, (2008). “Buckland’s complete book of Witchcraft,” Llewellyn Publ,, (1986). Scott Cunningham – “Wicca: A guide for the solitary practitioner,” Llewellyn Publ., (1990). Eileen Holland: “Spells for the Solitary Witch,” Weiser Books, (2004).
