As we go through each day, it would really help if we can make at least one person happier than they were before them met us. This is not an easy thing to do because it means that we put others’ happiness ahead of ours. That is why the ancient people say that a family person has the best chance of going to heaven. Regardless of how much we “worship” the deities or how big our house is or how many servants we have, it is the work that comes from the heart that people will remember you for. Consider these opportunities: One note about “giving”. True giving means that we DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING back. Giving to the poor strangers gives us the best chance of three-fold rewards! 1. Help an orphaned child eat food and go to school. The legacy of this contribution is tremendous and can go on for generations after we die. 2. Feed a hungry child that you do not know. 3. Help a child (or relative) go through school by paying their fees and offering a place to stay. 4. Help the helpless (usually the children or the elderly in your life) or people suffering from illness. 5.Volunteer at a hospital where you can bring some cheer to the patients (maybe dressed as a clown?) 6.
