whether i will be successful in my career….
Merry Meet Seeker. It is not easy to be young and not know what the future holds for us. However, you can be successful in your career if you purposefully prepare for it and know that you are good at it. In earlier days, most people simply didn’t have a choice. They had to learn as an apprentice at their parent’s or grandparent’s work and then slowly get to work alongside the rest of the family. These days we have more choices. However, we do need to think deeply as to what our strengths are, what our goals are. Many parents try to advise the kids on what to do. That is not a good idea at all. What you need to do is to wonder what you liked when you were a kid. Kindergarten may be the time when your mind was free of obligations. Of course, the problem is that everyone wants to be a clown in kindergarten! Another way to find out what career is good for you is to evaluate yourself at a career counseling session. See what your strengths are and align your career to that goal. The best way to create your future is to visualize it, plan it and get ready for it. If you think that you would make a good teacher, find out the pre-requisites you need to apply for a job as a teacher, get those qualifications, take those exams and find a school where you can get some voluntary work in as experience. By constantly thinking about our goals, we actually create the opportunities that will take us to the goal. So the answer to your question would be Yes, you will be successful in your career – IF you know what you want, prepare for it and do your best to keep learning about new ways to improve your work. Brightest Blessings. Rose.
